What are the requirements for the I-20?

TALK is able to issue the I-20 for the application for the student visa F-1.

Your local US consular office should be contacted for the most up-to-date information.

In order for you to get enrolled and get the form 1-20 for the student visa from TALK International, you should follow the steps listed below:

1. Fill in the application form and fax it back to TALK International at 954-262-3913.

2. After you send the application, you will need to make a deposit for your studies. The deposit should be half of tuition plus $150 application fee and $50 express courier fee. You can make the payment by credit card, wire transfer, check or money order. Details on how to make your payment are on the application form.

3. We will also need a letter from your bank showing that you have sufficient funds to pay for your studies, housing, food and any extras during the time that your are here. This amount is not money that you will pay to the school. It is used by the American Consulate/Embassy. You will need to demonstrate $500 for each week that you plan to study.

4. If financial support documents belong to a sponsor, a sponsor letter is required.

Once we have received the documentation and payment required, an I-20 will be issued in 3-4 days and it will be sent to your home country using an International Express Delivery company. When you receive the form, you should pay the $100 SEVIS fee via internet, and you are ready to go to the American embassy in your country to have your student visa approved.
