The school is located on the campus of Nova Southeastern University.

What are the opening hours of TALK Administration?
5 days per week, Monday - Friday
Open: 08:30 AM
Close: 5:00 PM
The school also opens on weekends in special circumstances e.g IELTS exams etc.

Is there a library in the School?
Yes, there is a newly built library on campus that has won many national design awards - it is one of the largest in the State of Florida!
We have the University bookstore on campus and a large Barnes and Noble bookstore on University Drive.

Can I use computers and e-mail?
Yes. There are over 100 computers for your use and a wireless network if you bring a laptop
Each student can have his or her personal e-mail address for keeping in contact with family, friends and work!
Students can create their own web based e-mail only (e.g. hotmail, yahoo etc.)

What is the school building like?
Spacious, fully air-conditioned and comfortably furnished.
Classrooms have comfortable chairs and tables NOT the uncomfortable metal chairs found in some schools. Each classroom has audio and video facilities and instructors will often use video cameras with the class.

TALK students have access to all university facilities such as:
- Award-winning Library
- Computer Lab with over 100 state of the art machines
- Coffee Lounge
- Study Rooms
- University Center; which includes Campus Recreation (a state-of-the-art wellness center with gymnasium, fitness and weight rooms, racquetball and squash courts, swimming pool and rock-climbing wall), Sports Arena (a convention center sports area with seating for 5,500 people) and Performing Arts (the home of NSU’s performing arts program with a recital hall, studios, and a “black box” theater).

What are the classrooms like?
The school has 8 classrooms.
All are spacious and fully equipped with VCR, tape recorders, sound etc.
All classrooms have heating and air-conditioning plus comfortable chairs and tables.

Is TALK suitable for disabled students?
Yes. All University facilities are designed for wheelchair access.

Will someone at TALK speak my language?
Yes, they probably will. But....
1. Your teachers are prohibited from using any language in the classroom except English. You will not do translations from your own language and your class mates will be from all parts of the world.
2. TALK has an "English Only" policy. No other language is permitted in the school.
However, in an emergency, there will usually be someone at TALK to help you in your own language.

Is TALK suitable for families?
Yes. It is ideal.
Families can be accommodated in apartment-style residences, whether or not they are all taking a course.

Is TALK suitable for executives and business people?
Yes.
TALK provides a quiet, mature atmosphere, excellent facilities and specially designed business courses in small groups and private lessons.
The apartments and an excellent variety of hotels are a good choice for older students. Fort Lauderdale is ideal for people of any age.

Yes - TALK is fully accredited by ACCET (Accrediting Council for Education and Training)
TALK gained accreditation from ACCET in 1999 with the highest score ever awarded at an initial accreditation.
TALK's current accreditation is valid from August 15th 2004 to August 15th 2009.
